Terms and conditions

At The Snow Centre, your enjoyment is our priority.

To ensure everyone has the best visit, we have some information and terms detailed below. By making a booking at The Snow Centre you have accepted our Terms and Conditions.

If you have any queries please call us on 01442 241321, alternatively you can speak to any member of the team while you are in the centre.

General Information

  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of your activity, this will give time to park, check-in, get changed and collect your equipment safely.
  • If you are running late we will do our best to get you on the snow, however if you are more than 15 minutes late for your snow activity, admission may be refused due to compromised enjoyment of others in your session, slope capacity or instructor availability. In these instances, we are not obliged to give a refund or transfer.
  • Gloves, full-length trousers and long-sleeved tops must be worn by everyone taking part in a snow activity. It is recommended that clothing is warm and waterproof. Gloves must be waterproof. Gloves and socks can be purchased on arrival using card and contactless payments. We recommend one pair of thick long socks.
  • Anyone participating in a lesson must be booked into the correct level and age groups. Not booking the correct level and age group compromises the enjoyment of all participants in the group and may result in your lesson being curtailed.
  • The Trainer Slope is allocated for skiing and snowboarding lessons led by our instructors only. It is not permitted to teach friends or family members on our training slope.
  • The Snow Centre reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a person’s snow activity without giving a refund. Levels on lessons may be combined without prior notice.
  • All recreational skiing and snowboarding Lift Passes will take place on the Main Slope. Snow conditions may vary due to the time of day and the usage of the slope. You cannot use the Trainer Slope for Recreational Lift Passes.
  • There may be times when the slope is closed or an area is sectioned off to prepare for an event. The slope may also be closed when an event is taking place. We always recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. Please check online or call us on 01442 241321 for up-to-date information.
  • The Snow Centre accepts no responsibility for personal injury, or loss, or damage to personal property which may occur whilst on The Snow Centre premises.

Bookings and Pricing Policy

All bookings must be made in advance by visiting our website or by calling our team on 01442 241321.

All snow activities must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable.

All prices include equipment hire and helmets, however you are welcome to use your own equipment providing it is in good working order.

Junior rates are applicable to persons aged 16 years and under.

All prices include VAT at the current rate where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

In the event that the lesson level booked has less than maximum participants, we may merge levels with the next logical group. This will only happen on Main Slope lessons where the participant has a level of autonomy over their performance (Levels 5, 6 and Skills Development) and will never have more than our maximum number of participants. Our instructors are trained in delivering an inclusive and enjoyable session and in no way will this affect the quality of coaching offered.

Your calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

When using our website and communicating with us electronically, by phone or face to face we will need some data from you. To find out what data we keep and why, please go to our Privacy Policy.

The word from the slopes

  • “Easy access from M1. Plenty of parking, simple registration, and quick service to collect skis, boots etc. Both lifts serving the main slopes worked faultlessly and although the session was quite busy I felt the slopes were quite free of other skiers & classes. I particularly liked the snow conditions and at the end enjoyed the amazing cafè overlooking the slopes. Reasonably priced menu. All told an excellent start to our skiing this year.”

  • “Very friendly staff. Good, clean facilities and very good prices on lessons & lift passes.”

  • “Very helpful staff would recommend to anyone trying to learn snow sports very down to earth people.”

  • “Great place, nothing negative to add. You can rent all of the equipment down to socks. Any kind of lessons available. Parking, gear store, cafe on site”

  • “Great lessons with experienced instructors who put kids and parents at their ease. The lessons were full as it was half term, but each child still didn’t have to wait too long between turns on the slope. It was easy to get and return equipment and the food in the restaurant was great and came promptly.”
