Day Ski Lessons

Full day ski lessons allow you to work on your skills in a short amount of time on a real snow slope in London. At The Snow Centre, we offer one-day ski lessons with experienced instructors, ideal for beginners to get comfortable on the slopes before first ski holidays or for quick development of skills and techniques for more experienced skiers.

All day ski lessons are available at three levels:

Beginner Ski Day (Level 1)
Improvers Day (Level 4)
Skills Development Day (Level 6 and Skills)

You can find out which ability level you are in below. It is important to know your level before making your full day ski lesson booking. Selecting the right level ensures safety on the slopes and helps you get the most out of your all day ski lesson.

One-Day Ski Lessons Include

One-day ski lessons at The Snow Centre consist of five hours on the slopes with an instructor for maximum learning and enjoyment. These ski lessons also include:

5 hour lift pass
Skis, boots, poles and helmet
Lunch
Refreshments throughout the day

5 Hour Adult Beginner Ski Day Lesson

The ski beginner days start at Level 1 and will guide you through 5 hours of instruction, taking place on and off the snow, giving you the perfect foundations to continue to develop your newfound skills. The Snow Centre’s one-ski lessons are group sessions with a maximum of 10 participants.

Plus, lunch and refereshments are included during your day in The Lodge Bar & Kitchen!

5 Hour Adult Ski Improver Lesson

Our 5 Hour Ski Improver day lessons are aimed at skiers who have completed the Beginner’s Day course and achieved Level 3 / or who can link snowplough turns on easy green slopes. The course will start on the Lesson Slope where the focus will be on further developing steering and controlled snowplough turns.

Once participants are confident in safely skiing from the top of our Trainer Slope the course will progress to our Main Slope. Learners will be introduced to a typical surface ski lift (button lift) with a goal of following the instructor in a controlled descent down the Main Slope. The course will focus on developing independence and confidence as an early level skier. Instruction takes place both on and off the slope.

5 Hour Adult Ski Skills Development Lesson

You’re an accomplished skier and you’re looking to push on from basic parallel skiing and look at developing short and longer radius turns. Aimed at guests who are independent skiers, have completed Level 5 or our Improver Day Course and wish to develop more confidence and technique. The lesson will start from the top of the main slope.

The skills development day is aimed at those who have been practising their parallel skiing with lift passes either at The Snow Centre or in the mountains. Your coach will help you develop your shorter and longer turns and how you blend the steering and edging elements as well as dealing with varied snow conditions. As with all our day lessons, tuition takes place both on and off the snow.

Great as a pre-holiday refresh or to keep your ski legs going throughout the year! This course includes 5 hours of tuition taking place on and off the slope.Just £199pp.

Have you got your snow essentials?

Skis, boots and helmets are included with your session and we recommend wearing warm, waterproof clothing. Thick socks and gloves are mandatory on the slopes. If you don't have your own we offer clothing hire - just £7 for one item or £12 for both a jacket and trousers. Gloves and socks are available to purchase for just £12 for gloves and £6 for socks.

Snow essentials can be added at the time of making your booking or at Reception when you arrive.

Plenty of parking, simple registration, and quick service to collect skis, boots etc. Both lifts serving the main slopes worked faultlessly and although the session was quite busy I felt the slopes were quite free of other skiers & classes.
