Private Ski Lessons

Private Ski Lessons near me

At The Snow Centre, our one-on-one private ski lessons can be arranged for any level of experience, from first-time beginners to expert skiers. When you plan your visit, just let your instructor know what you’d like to focus on, and they will help you achieve your goal.

The beauty of private lessons is that they can progress at the pace you wish. If you want to take things slowly and get the basics right, then you can; alternatively, if you want to fly through and get to the more advanced stuff, then our instructor will work the lessons around you.

We also offer private ski lessons for individuals and private groups on our beginner and main slopes. So if you’re planning to share the experience with friends or family, you’re more than welcome to invite up to four additional people to join in the lesson and the fun! We also offer savings for additional guests, too, making our private group ski lessons great value for groups. To ensure a group gets the most out of the lesson, we recommend you go with people of similar abilities.

So if you’ve been searching for ‘private ski lessons near me’, you’ve come to the right place!

Included in your lesson:

  • One hour of private instruction
  • Skis, boots, helmets and poles
  • Complimentary drink from The Lodge after your session

Beginner Slope Private Ski Lesson - 3-5 Year Olds

Our beginner slope junior lessons are undertaken with a different approach. The main focus of the lesson is to teach your children the basics, taught in an engaging and fun way designed to engage juniors aged 3-5.

The lesson will include introducing the juniors to the equipment and how to move with skis on, and then teaching them how to do a snowplough. Once they have mastered the basics, they will be ready for the main slope lessons. If your child has never skied before, then the beginner private ski lesson is the perfect way to get them ready for the slopes.

Main Slope Private Ski Lesson - 3-5 Year Olds

Our main slope junior lessons are for juniors who are able to ski at level 5 or above. The main slope lesson will teach the juniors how to further the skills they learned on the beginner slope. This can include developing their snow plough turns, learning how to ski at higher speeds, and keeping their form correct when doing so.

The lesson will include some more advanced techniques, so you should not take this lesson if your child is not comfortable at level 5 or hasn't first taken the beginner lesson. The word from the slopes

  • “Easy access from M1. Plenty of parking, simple registration, and quick service to collect skis, boots etc. Both lifts serving the main slopes worked faultlessly and although the session was quite busy I felt the slopes were quite free of other skiers & classes. I particularly liked the snow conditions and at the end enjoyed the amazing cafè overlooking the slopes. Reasonably priced menu. All told an excellent start to our skiing this year.”

  • “Very friendly staff. Good, clean facilities and very good prices on lessons & lift passes.”

  • “Very helpful staff would recommend to anyone trying to learn snow sports very down to earth people.”

  • “Great place, nothing negative to add. You can rent all of the equipment down to socks. Any kind of lessons available. Parking, gear store, cafe on site”

  • “Great lessons with experienced instructors who put kids and parents at their ease. The lessons were full as it was half term, but each child still didn’t have to wait too long between turns on the slope. It was easy to get and return equipment and the food in the restaurant was great and came promptly.”
