The Snow Centre offers a range of snowsports activities for the whole family, whether you're getting your child ready for a trip to the mountains or want to keep their ski legs going closer to home. Thanks to our excellent family ski lessons, you can learn directly from the experts, or for a more personal learning experience, find our private family ski lessons. Whatever method of instruction you and your family prefer, you can find the best family ski lessons in the UK and you’ll all soon be learning to ski confidently at The Snow Centre.

Whether you’re learning a new hobby as a family or polishing your existing talent, our private ski lessons are a great way to have fun as a family. To ensure you get the most out of your ski lessons, you’ll have your own instructor who’ll make sure you have long-lasting snow fun memories!
Family Ski Lessons
Our family ski lessons are for groups of one to five people, aged four years up to adults, who are at the same level. Private family ski lessons are available for complete beginners through to those who are proficient on our Main Slope. For juniors aged between three and five, 30-minute sessions are available. Anyone over four can have one-hour lessons.

Extra people can be added for £44 per person for Levels 1-4 and £37pp for Levels 5 and beyond.
You will get the most out of your lesson if you’re all at a similar level. Please select the correct level based on the skill set of the person with the lowest ability in your group. Your instructor will progress the lesson at the rate of this person. If you’re unsure what level to choose, please contact our team on 01442 241321.
Family Lift Passes
If you’re a family of competent skiers, you can challenge yourselves on our 160m Main Slope. We've got a range of lift passes available, from one hour to six hours, and you can enjoy the ultimate family snow activities.

Family Snow Activities
You don’t have to go skiing to have a great time at The Snow Centre. We've got plenty going on to keep you sliding. With Ringo Slide sessions, we’re sure you’ll love whizzing down the slope together.
Family and Friends Ringo Slide
After you finish your family ski lessons, take a deserved break and whizz, slide, and spin down our Ringo Slide. Available for groups of children aged four years and up, this is a perfect family snow activity.

The booking includes snow boots and a helmet. Remember to bring your own gloves and wrap up warm! If you don’t have gloves, they’re available to purchase for £12.
Have you got your snow essentials?
Skis, boots, and helmets are included with your session, and we recommend wearing warm, waterproof clothing. Thick socks and gloves are mandatory on the slopes. If you don't have your own, we offer clothing hire - just £7 for one item or £12 for a jacket and trousers. Gloves and socks are available to purchase for just £12 for gloves and £6 for socks.
Snow essentials can be added when you make your booking or at reception when you arrive, so make sure to get the essentials and then head out for all kinds of family snow activities.
