If you really want to progress your skills quickly, why not join one of our all day snowboarding lessons? At The Snow Centre, we've got a variety of options available, so you can find the level that suits you. Whether you're a beginner who has never seen a snowboard before or looking to just develop your skills so you are ready for the slopes.

Our snowboarding day lessons come at three levels:

No matter your skill level, we have lessons for you to help build your confidence on the slopes or serve as a refresher to get you ready for your next skiing excursion. It is important to know the level you are at before making your booking, as this will ensure you get the most out of your day and keep not only you but others safe on the slopes.

One Day Snowboarding Lessons Include:

Our one-day snowboarding lessons at The Snow Centre consist of five hours on the slopes with a specialist instructor to ensure that you get the most out of your time.

Beginners Snowboard Day Lesson

The Snow Centre is the perfect place for all day snowboarding lessons. It doesn't matter if you’ve never even seen a snowboard before; with our beginners course, you will be well on your way to being a snowboarding master. Starting as complete beginners, during our one day snowboarding lesson, we will guide you through five hours of snowboarding basics. By the end of the lesson, you will know some basic skills, and we will also ensure you understand your equipment and fully understand slope safety.

Not enough time in your schedule to take separate lessons? Whatever the reason, our one-day sessions let you pack in all the guidance and practise you need in one unforgettable day

N.B. To get the most out of your visit, we recommend the Beginner Snowboard Day Lessons for those that regularly take part in other sports activities.

Beginners Snowboarding Days start at Level 1 and will guide you through 5 hours of instruction (on and off the slope), giving you the perfect foundations to continue to develop your newfound skills.

Plus, we'll throw in lunch and drinks in our Alpine themed restaurant - The Lodge Bar & Kitchen.

Snowboard Improver Day Lesson

Once you have completed the beginners course, you can take on our improvers day. Aimed at snowboarders who have achieved Level 3 or snowboarders who can link basic turns on easy green slopes. This one day snowboarding course starts on our Trainer Slope, where the focus will be on further developing steering and controlled turns, developing confidence, progressive edging skills, and unlocking the ability to ride steeper terrain.

Learners will be introduced to a button lift with the goal of following the instructor in a controlled descent down the Main Slope. The course will focus on developing independence and confidence as an early level snowboarder.

Snowboard Skills Development Day Lesson

Our Skill Development snowboarding day lesson is aimed at guests who are independent snowboarders, have completed Level 5 or our Improver Day Course, and wish to develop more confidence and technique. The lesson will start at the top of the main slope and will continue to further enhance the accuracy and control of their snowboard. As you progress through these skills, you will develop your turn size and shape to help tackle a variety of terrain and conditions.

Our skills development day makes a great pre-holiday refresh or to keep your snowboarding legs going throughout the year!

Skills Development Day

Aimed at guests who are independent snowboarders, have completed Level 5 or our Improver Day Course and wish to develop more confidence and technique. The lesson will start from the top of the main slope and will continue to further enhance the accuracy and control of their snowboard. As you progress through these skills you will develop turn size and shape to help tackle a variety of terrain and conditions.

Great as a pre-holiday refresh or to keep your ski legs going throughout the year! Including 5 Hours of tuition on and off the slope, plus lunch and refreshments. Just £199pp.

Make sure to get the snowboarding essentials

The price of your snowboarding day lesson includes the fee for a snowboard and the helmet that is mandatory. To keep warm, we recommend that you wear warm, waterproof clothing, thick socks, and gloves that are also mandatory on the slopes. Don’t worry if you do not have your own; we offer clothing hire, with £7 for one item or £12 for both a jacket and trousers. Gloves can be purchased for only £12, and socks for £6.

The snow essentials can be added at the time of booking or at reception when you arrive.

Plenty of parking, simple registration, and quick service to collect skis, boots etc. Both lifts serving the main slopes worked faultlessly and although the session was quite busy I felt the slopes were quite free of other skiers & classes.
