The Snow Centre offers a range of snowsports activities for the whole family, whether you're getting your child ready for a trip to the mountains or want to keep their ski legs going closer to home. Thanks to our excellent family ski lessons and family snowboard lessons, you can be sure you’ll all be learning to ski confidently at The Snow Centre.
Snowboard and Ski With family
Whether you’re learning a new hobby as a family or polishing your existing talent, our Private Ski & Snowboard Lessons are a great way to have fun as a family. To ensure you get the most out of your lessons, you’ll have your own instructor who’ll make sure you have long-lasting family snow fun memories!
Family Ski Lessons
Our family ski lessons are for groups of one to five people, aged three years up to adults, who are at the same level. Private family ski lessons are available for complete beginners through those who are proficient on our Main Slope. For juniors aged between three and five, 30-minute sessions are available. Anyone over four can have one-hour lessons.

If you’re a family of competent Skiers or Snowboarders, you can challenge yourselves on our 160m Main Slope. We've got a range of Family Lift Passes available, starting from one hour up to six hours, and you can enjoy the ultimate family snow activities.

Family Snow Activities
You don’t have to be skiing or snowboarding to have a great time at The Snow Centre. We've got plenty going on to keep you sliding. With Ringo Slide sessions, we’re sure you’ll love whizzing down the slope together.
Family and Friends Ringo Slide
When you are done with the family ski lessons, take a deserved break and whizz, slide, and spin down our Ringo Slide. Available for groups of children aged four years and up, this is a perfect family snow activity.

The booking includes snow boots and a helmet. Don't forget to bring your own gloves and wrap up warm! If you don’t have gloves, then they’re available to purchase for £10.
Have you got your snow essentials?
Skis, boots, and helmets are included with your session, and we recommend wearing warm, waterproof clothing. Thick socks and gloves are mandatory on the slopes. If you don't have your own, we offer clothing hire - just £7 for one item or £12 for both a jacket and trousers. Gloves and socks are available to purchase for just £12 for gloves and £6 for socks.
Snow essentials can be added at the time of making your booking or at reception when you arrive, so make sure to get the essentials and then head out for all kinds of family snow activities.
