Role at The Snow Centre: Marketing Assistant and Ski Instructor with 2 years of experience.
Short Bio:
The first time I went skiing I was 3 years old, taught by my dad who spent his twenties working as a ski instructor in resorts across Europe. Every year, our family would head off on unforgettable ski trips with friends, some of my favourite childhood memories and the foundation of a lifelong passion for the mountains.
After graduating from university, I followed in my dad’s footsteps and completed my Austrian Anwarter Ski Instructor qualification, before spending a winter season in Zell am See, Austria. One season quickly turned into another, and I later made the move to Whistler, Canada, where I experienced world-class terrain, developed my skiing to a new level and immersed myself in mountain life in one of the most iconic ski destinations in the world.
Returning to the UK, I wanted to combine my love of snowsports with my career in marketing. Today, as Marketing Assistant at The Snow Centre, I get to inspire more people to discover skiing and snowboarding, whether they’re stepping onto snow for the first time or chasing their next adventure in the mountains.
Tip you would give to anyone taking part in Snowsports: Give everything a go and try as much as possible. That is the fastest way you’ll learn and improve in snowsports. The more you experiment, fall, adjust and try again, the quicker everything starts to click and the more fun it becomes.
What was your first Snowsports experience and where? La Tania, Courchevel, France, 2005.
