The Snow Centre’s Privacy Promise to you

Safety is paramount — whether on the slopes or looking after your data, our focus is on safety. We promise to collect, process, store and share your data safely and securely.

This privacy policy tells you about the information we collect from you when you use our website. In collecting this information, we are acting as a data controller and, by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data, and about the rights you have over your data.

We may collect limited medical information where needed for safety (e.g. during lessons or first aid). These are stored securely and separately, and may be retained for legal purposes if required.

Use of Your Data

We don’t use your data for automated decision making. Profiling is only used to tailor communications where you've opted in or consented.

Management of Your Data

Data is stored securely. Access is limited. Payments are encrypted. We notify regulatory authorities of breaches when required. We may transfer data outside the UK/EEA only to places with adequate safeguards.

Retaining Your Data

Records are generally kept for around 5 years since last interaction. Incident/accident-related records are held for up to 18 years.

Log into your account & update details. To get full records, contact us (may require ID). We respond within one month. Fees may apply only in special cases (if request is manifestly unfounded or excessive).
