We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Group Head of Talent to lead our HR and Learning & Development function across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the employee experience, build future talent pipelines, and ensure our values are at the heart of everything we do.

About Us

About the role:

As Group Head of Talent, you’ll lead our People Team (HR Manager, HR Administrator, and L&D
Coordinator) to deliver outstanding HR and L&D outcomes. You’ll play a key role in building a high-
performing, engaged, and compliant workforce, working closely with Operations and senior leaders to align
people priorities with business goals.
You’ll oversee recruitment, engagement, training, and performance processes, while also managing
complex ER matters and ensuring compliance with employment law. Beyond HR delivery, you’ll drive
culture, communications, and engagement initiatives that embed our values and inspire our teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and develop the People Team across HR and L&D.
  • Design and deliver the annual training and development calendar.
  • Embed career pathways, including apprenticeships and development programmes.
  • Oversee senior-level recruitment and support operational hiring processes.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases and ensure HR compliance.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and lead internal communications strategy.
  • Contribute strategically to senior leadership discussions and planning.

We’re looking for someone with:

Significant HR leadership experience, ideally within leisure, hospitality, or similar sectors.
A strong background in Learning & Development.
CIPD qualification (Level 5+).
Experience managing multi-site HR teams.
Proven ability to manage complex ER cases.
A track record of driving engagement and culture change.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Availability:

This is a full-time role. Flexibility will be required, with travel across multiple sites and occasional evening
or weekend work to support business needs.
