A winter launch event like no other, on 3rd-4th October 2026 at The Snow Centre Manchester, set against our REAL SNOW slopes with equipment demo’s on real snow, talks, entertainment, lift passes and lessons, not to mention plenty of après-ski food, drink and fun.

Our completely FREE event showcases over 50 top snowsports and lifestyle brands on and off the UK’s longest indoor REAL SNOW slope.

For Northern Snow we’ll be running a Jib Park sponsored by Oakley! If you’re new to Freestyle, find freestyle features daunting, or just a seasoned pro who loves jibbing around, then these are for you! The Session pass will grant access to the Oakley Jib park, for freestyle coaching for 1½ Hours.

How about a ski lesson?

First snow steps to honing your skills, our usual schedule of Group and Private Lessons will be in full-swing across the Northern Snow weekend. Whether you are here for the show or trying to get ready for your winter holiday, we have a ski lesson for you. From Stage One Beginner, right through to Stage Six as you advance toward coaching – you can grab a lesson in amongst the party. Adults and kids, ski or snowboard lessons available all weekend.

Why not try snowboarding?

Northern Snow is the perfect place to try out Snowboarding for the first time, or develop your existing skills so you are completely winter-ready. Our regular schedule of Group and Private Lessons are available all weekend at the Northern Snow Show. From beginners starting out at Stage One, through to those advancing to coaching in Stage Six lessons – snag a lesson at the Northern Snow winter launch. Adults and kids over 7 can try out either boarding or skiing, with our snowboard lessons and ski lessons available all weekend.

Along with Northern Snow, we offer a wide variety of events in Manchester at The Snow Centre. If you’re a fan of freestyle, our freestyle events calendar will have all of the dates for Full Park Friday, and our moguls calendar will let you know when our slopes have been transformed into a challenging, bumpy run. Challenge yourself with our range of events that have you out and active on the slopes, or enjoy all of the festivities and demos at Northern Snow.
