Whilst you pick up all the skills and techniques you need in your private snowboarding lessons, why not introduce the little snowboarder in your life to our slopes and start them on their learning journey with private lessons or group kids’ snowboarding lessons. Private lessons start from three years old, while your kids can join group lessons from seven years old.

Aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of your lesson to allow ample time for preparation. Upon arrival, please have your booking reference available (you can find this on your booking confirmation email). You can collect your tickets from the Guest Services desk or the self-service ticket machines situated near reception. If your booking confirmation has a QR code, you can scan it at the self-service machines to check in.

Yes, although our adult snowboard lessons and kids snowboard lessons provide an excellent way to learn how to snowboard alongside fellow boarders all at the same level, a private lesson allows for you to learn in a one-on-one environment with our instructors able to correct any mistakes and behaviours and tailor the lessons to your needs. This focused tuition often means you will make progress more quickly than in a group setting.
Warm clothing is essential for your Snowboard lessons, especially in cold conditions. Wrapping up warm will allow you to enjoy your lesson fully. Wear warm, waterproof clothing and warm socks. All of which can be hired or purchased if you don’t have your own. The rest of your equipment, your snowboard, boots and helmet, all of which are compulsory, are included in your lesson fee. Gloves are compulsory and can be purchased either online when booking, or at the centre, or bring your own.
No two people learn at the same rate; while you may find some aspects harder or easier than others, the average time taken to become competent at snowboarding is around 8-10 hours. Through your private snowboard lessons, you can take the time to master areas you find challenging or move faster through the areas you feel more comfortable in.
We have two main types of private snowboard lessons: Beginner Slope Private and Main Slope Private. Beginner slope private lessons are ideal for those who are just starting out or have taken a few lessons already. Main slope private lessons are for those who are either just starting on Main Slope or are proficient snowboarders looking to develop specific areas or skills. If you fill out our ‘What Stage Am I?’ form and the response suggests you are in Stages 1-3, book a Beginner Slope Private Lesson. If the suggestion is Stages 4-6, book a Main Slope Private Lesson.
Simply select the lesson that you and up to 5 additional guests want – Beginner Slope or Main Slope – at a date and time to suit you all. Once you have selected these, you will be asked if you would like to add additional guests, and you can enter how many you would like.
