Kids Snowboard Coaching.

Aim to arrive 45 minutes to an hour before the start time of your lesson to allow ample time for preparation. Upon arrival, please have your booking reference available (you can find this on your booking confirmation email). You can collect your tickets from the Guest Services desk or the self-service ticket machines situated near reception. If your booking confirmation has a QR code, you can scan it at the self-service machines to check in.

Our facilities include changing cubicles, accessible changing facilities, and lockers available to store your belongings, which accept a £1 coin or a locker token. These are returnable. 

Our kids' snowboard coaching sessions typically allow for 1 hour and 30 minutes of instruction. The sessions are designed to help your child develop their skills and pick up some more advanced techniques.

The kids' snowboard coaching sessions are designed for kids aged seven to sixteen years. These classes are specifically tailored to children in this age range, focusing on further developing their already sound snowboarding skills.

If the child meets the minimum requirements to snowboard independently (Lesson Stage 5), they can start boarding on a Main Slope lift pass from 10 years old, provided they have a guardian on site and meet our Main Slope minimum standards:

• Be able to control and link turns.
• Be able to control speed and direction.
• Be able to stop safely.
• Be comfortable with variable piste conditions.
• Be competent in using a drag lift

If your child has any specific learning needs, please inform the instructor before their lessons so they can make any necessary adjustments. For any significant needs your child may have, we recommend contacting Disability Snowsports UK initially, as they offer subsidised lessons to help your child get started before participating in The Snow Centre's group lessons.

Warm clothing is essential for your Snowboard lessons, especially in cold conditions. Wrapping up warm will allow you to enjoy your lesson fully. Wear warm, waterproof clothing and warm socks. All of which can be hired or purchased if you don’t have your own. The rest of your equipment, your snowboard, boots and helmet, all of which are compulsory, are included in your lesson fee. Gloves are compulsory and can be purchased either online when booking, or at the centre, or bring your own.
