Adult Advanced Snowboard Lessons.

Enjoy learning advanced snowboarding skills under the tutelage of our incredibly experienced team of instructors. Mastering advanced snowboarding techniques such as carving, controlling your speed and some off-piste techniques. Our Stage 6 snowboard lessons at The Snow Centre Manchester help you feel at home on the Main Slope. You’ll develop better posture, a wider range of movement, and more flow, preparing you to move on to coaching sessions, including freestyle.

The final lesson stage of The Snow Centre learning journey is your gateway into the world of coaching. You will learn about varying your turn shape, size and speed to match the terrain while maintaining constant control.  You’ll be riding with more flow, improved posture and developing switch snowboarding skills. This might be the last stage in the lesson journey, but it’s the first step toward mastering Snowboarding.

Freestyle snowboarding is a thrilling experience, and at The Snow Centre Manchester, we’re proud to offer freestyle snowboarding coaching sessions. Whether you’re new to freestyling or you’ve been riding features for years, our expert instructors can make your lesson fun and intuitive. Freestyle newbies can learn the basics of riding features and getting air before adding tricks to your jumps and eventually learning moves such as Indy Grabs and Ollies.

Aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of your lesson to allow ample time for preparation. Upon arrival, please have your booking reference available (you can find this on your booking confirmation email). You can collect your tickets from the Guest Services desk or the self-service ticket machines situated near reception. If your booking confirmation has a QR code, you can scan it at the self-service machines to check in.

Our facilities include changing cubicles and accessible changing facilities.

If you haven’t snowboarded in a long time, or you feel confident enough in yourself to try some advanced snowboarding lessons but just want to be sure of your snowboarding ability, you can know what stage is right for you by filling out our What Stage Am I? form, which will advise you of your learning stage based on your current ability. 

The best and most effective way to become an advanced snowboarder is by taking lessons at The Snow Centre Manchester. Our expert instructors can guide you through the basics and help you master more advanced techniques. If you feel you need more practice and meet our Main Slope minimum recreational standard, grab a Lift Pass and get some slope time. Alternatively, our private snowboard lessons and day snowboard lessons allow you to hone your skills even further. 

Our Stage 6 snowboard lessons are 2 hours long and are your gateway to skills coaching, freestyle and snowboard mastery. Although less structured than our beginner snowboard lessons and intermediate snowboard lessons, both the Stage 6 lesson and our coaching sessions allow you to progress at your own pace, focusing more on refining your skills and technique.

Warm clothing is essential for your Snowboard lessons, especially in cold conditions. Wrapping up warm will allow you to enjoy your lesson fully. Wear warm, waterproof clothing and warm socks. All of which can be hired or purchased if you don’t have your own. The rest of your equipment, your snowboard, boots and helmet, all of which are compulsory, are included in your lesson fee. Gloves are compulsory and can be purchased either online when booking, or at the centre, or bring your own.
