Be prepared to face the cold conditions out on the slopes of The Snow Centre Manchester with our clothing hire service. If you’re in need of gear, you can find all you need here, from the skis, snowboards, boots and helmets included with your lift pass or lesson to waterproof jackets and trousers for hire or socks and gloves available to purchase. We have all you need to wrap up warm and tackle the slopes with confidence.
Warm clothing is essential for your time on the slopes, especially in cold conditions. Wrapping up warm will allow you to enjoy your ski lesson fully. Wear warm, waterproof clothing with gloves and warm socks. All of which can be hired or purchased if you don’t have your own. The rest of your equipment, your boots, skis or snowboard, poles, and helmet, are included in your lesson fee.
When you purchase a lift pass or a lesson at The Snow Centre Manchester, you will automatically have access to equipment, including your snowboard or skis, boots, and a helmet. Skiers will also be given poles if you want them.
Purchase warm waterproof gloves for £8 and thick, warm socks for £5 to keep you comfy in the ski or snowboard boots. We also sell neck warmers for £5 and hand warmers or toe warmers for £2 each to keep you nice and toasty out on the sub-zero slope conditions.
If you don’t have a suitable warm and waterproof jacket and trousers with you for your lesson, lift pass or session on our Snow Park, we have them here for you to hire. For £8 per item or £14 for both jacket and trousers, we have everything you need. We even hire out warm snow boots for use on our Snow Park for just £5. At The Snow Centre Manchester we offer a wide variety of clothing and equipment sizes but unfortunately we cannot always accommodate every shape and size and as always, it is subject to availability.
Helmets are compulsory for everyone taking part in any snow activity.
Guests are welcome to bring their own helmet or can use The Snow Centre helmet at no extra charge. These are available in various sizes in the Changing Village, located on the wall just before you go out onto the snow.
Please note that all of our head protection is to the CE standard and is regularly disinfected.
