Once your child has mastered the learning journey lessons from Stage 1 right through to Stage 6, they’re ready for the next step in their snowboarding journey. Our kids' snowboard coaching allows them to explore their passion for the snow in personalised lessons led by our incredible instructors, perfect for allowing them to further develop their technique or pick up new skills.
Our private snowboarding lessons provide junior boarders with a true snowboarding experience, offering personalised instruction in a one-on-one environment or with a small group of friends. Private snowboard lessons are open to all levels of experience, from complete beginners to kids looking to hone their skills. Our private lessons are 30 minutes of instructions for 3-5 year olds and 1 hour for anyone over 6 years old.

Warm clothing is essential for their snowboard lesson; it's real snow after all. A waterproof jacket and trousers will allow them to enjoy their snowboard lesson fully; these can be hired from us if needed. Gloves and warm socks can be purchased from us if they don’t have their own. The rest of the equipment is included in the lesson fee.
Aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of your lesson to allow ample time for preparation. Upon arrival, please have your booking reference available (you can find this on your booking confirmation email). You can collect your tickets from the Guest Services desk or the self-service ticket machines situated near reception. If your booking confirmation has a QR code, you can scan it at the self-service machines to check in.
Our facilities include changing cubicles, accessible changing facilities and free lockers to store your belongings.
Kids can start their snowboard lessons from as young as three years old on a specialised one-to-one private lesson. 7-year-olds to 16-year-olds can join our group lessons. These sessions focus on introducing basic skills to ensure they are comfortable on the snow and familiar with their equipment before progressing to turning, controlling speed, stopping, and developing both technique and confidence.
During junior lessons, a parent/guardian is required to remain on-site and be in sight of the lesson (where reasonably possible) at all times. This is in case the instructor needs to signal a parent/guardian to come down to attend to their child. Parents/guardians are not allowed to be on the snow with their child, but should be up in the Lodge viewing gallery or adjoining balcony.
Absolutely, there’s no better time to start learning to snowboard than when your little ones are young. Our expert instructors are capable of teaching your children all they need to know while ensuring they remain safe and have fun out on our slopes. Snowboarding makes the perfect hobby for building confidence and essential life skills that will benefit them throughout their life as they grow older.
All our instructors have undertaken a DBS check and completed a child protection module, as well as all the relevant instructor licence requirements.
If your child has any specific learning needs, please inform the instructor at the start of the lesson so they can make any necessary adjustments. For any significant needs your child may have, we recommend contacting Disability Snowsports UK to help your child start their adventures on the slopes.
