Our all-day ski lessons allow you to work on a wide array of skills, all wrapped up into one fun-filled five-hour ski lesson on and off our exhilarating real snow slopes, plus an hour for lunch at The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead. After a five-hour ski lesson, you’ll be amazed at how much you’ve developed your skills while enjoying learning with others of a similar ability. Our day ski lessons are available for all levels of experience, from beginners (Stages 1-3) to improvers (Stages 4 and 5) and advanced skiers (Stage 6 and Skills Development).
Experience a full five-hour skiing lesson plus lunch, perfect for skiers looking to develop their skills while also enjoying a fun day out on the slopes. Our incredible instructors will guide you through the skiing lesson and tailor it to your needs. Our day skiing lessons in Hemel Hempstead are for anyone over the age of 17 and can be booked at three skill stages: Beginner (Stages 1 – 3), Improver (Stages 3 – 5) or Skills Development (Stages 5, 6 and Coaching).
It doesn't matter if you’ve never even tried it before; with our beginners snowboard day course, you will be well on your way to being a snowboarding legend. Starting as a complete beginner, during our five-hour snowboarding lesson, we will guide you through all of the snowboarding basics. By the end of the lesson, you will have some foundation skills, you will understand your equipment, and fully understand slope safety.

Aim to arrive 30 - 45 minutes before the start time of your lesson to allow ample time for preparation. Upon arrival, please have your booking reference available (you can find this on your booking confirmation email). You can collect your tickets from the Guest Services desk or the self-service ticket machines situated near reception. If your booking confirmation has a QR code, you can scan it at the self-service machines to check in.
Our facilities include changing cubicles, accessible changing facilities, and free of charge lockers are available to store your belongings.
There are three different classes to choose from when partaking in a day ski lesson: the beginner's ski class runs you through all of the basics; the improver lesson helps you apply further techniques to your steering and snowplough turns; and finally, the development class enables you to develop confidence on the slopes and improve your techniques.
An adult day ski lesson at The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead will have up to 10 participants who are all at a similar stage, and you’ll progress as a group whilst experiencing the thrill of the slopes.
Warm clothing is essential for your ski lesson; it's real snow after all. A waterproof jacket and trousers will allow you to enjoy your ski lesson fully; these can be hired from us if needed. Gloves and warm socks can be purchased from us if you don’t have your own. The rest of your equipment is included in your lesson fee.
