GCSE & A-Level Sessions at The Snow Centre.

Turn skiing or snowboarding experience into GCSE and A-Level PE assessment evidence. We offer dedicated assessment sessions designed to help students demonstrate the skills and performance criteria required by their examination board, including Competitive Slalom and Skills Assessments.

With support from our experienced instructors, students can complete their assessments with confidence at both our Manchester and Hemel Hempstead locations.

At Roselyn House School, we have worked with The Snow Centre Manchester for a number of years and have always been impressed by the quality of their provision. The staff and instructors create a welcoming, inclusive environment and work closely with us to ensure sessions meet the needs of all our students.

Many of our students have additional needs, and the team consistently adapts activities and staffing levels to enable every young person to participate and enjoy the experience. The six-week skiing and snowboarding programmes have been extremely popular, and our students recently had a wonderful time during a reward visit to the Snow Park.

The Snow Centre Manchester has played an important role in helping our students build confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting memories. We are grateful for their continued support and look forward to working with them in the future.

Children as young as three can start taking ski lessons at The Snow Centre. Group lessons typically start at four years old for skiing and seven years old for snowboarding. If you’re looking for primary school trip ideas, then The Snow Centre is the perfect place to learn.

What to bring on a school ski trip? +

For a school trip to one of our The Snow Centre locations, you will need to pack:

Warm layered clothing
A waterproof layer
Accessories such as a hat, gloves, and a scarf
