Introductory Lessons
Perfect for complete beginners, our one-hour ski and snowboard sessions cover the basics, helping you build confidence and get your first taste of the slopes.
Beginner & Intermediate Lessons
Take your skills to the next level with instructor-led sessions designed to develop technique, balance and confidence.
Beginner Day Course
Fast-track your progression with five hours of tuition in one day, taking you from the beginner slope to the lower main slope, with food included at The Lodge.
Multi-Week Courses
Learn at your own pace with our 3, 6 and 10-week courses, ideal for university clubs, societies or anyone looking to develop their skills over time.
Lift Passes
Already confident on the slopes? Hit the snow with 1, 2 or 3-hour lift passes and enjoy the freedom to ski or snowboard with friends.

Hemel Hempstead College & University Activities.

From first-timers to seasoned skiers and snowboarders, there’s an experience for everyone on real snow at Hemel Hempstead. Whether you’re planning a society social, an end-of-term celebration or simply looking to try something new with friends, our activities are designed to get everyone involved.

Introductory Lessons

GCSE & A-Level Sessions at The Snow Centre.

Turn skiing or snowboarding experience into GCSE and A-Level PE assessment evidence. We offer dedicated assessment sessions designed to help students demonstrate the skills and performance criteria required by their examination board, including Competitive Slalom and Skills Assessments.

With support from our experienced instructors, students can complete their assessments with confidence at both our Manchester and Hemel Hempstead locations.

At Roselyn House School, we have worked with The Snow Centre Manchester for a number of years and have always been impressed by the quality of their provision. The staff and instructors create a welcoming, inclusive environment and work closely with us to ensure sessions meet the needs of all our students.

Many of our students have additional needs, and the team consistently adapts activities and staffing levels to enable every young person to participate and enjoy the experience. The six-week skiing and snowboarding programmes have been extremely popular, and our students recently had a wonderful time during a reward visit to the Snow Park.

The Snow Centre Manchester has played an important role in helping our students build confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting memories. We are grateful for their continued support and look forward to working with them in the future.

Can I book for a group size of less than six? +

Our group bookings are available for groups of six or more. If you are booking for a group of fewer than six guests, then you will have to book individually. To learn more, please reach out to our call centre, which can assist you throughout the process.

Can I book at either The Snow Centre location? +

Yes! Both of The Snow Centre locations can accommodate all kinds of group activities. Head to The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead or The Snow Centre Manchester and enjoy a day packed with fun activities for all.

What else is there to do at The Snow Centre? +

Aside from our event and function services, we offer a great array of ski and snowboarding lessons for all abilities. Additionally, The Lodge Bar & Kitchen is open every day at both of our locations, offering a variety of food and drinks.
