Yes. The beauty of our indoor ski centres is that we make snow sports accessible to everyone. Skiing or snowboarding down our Main Slope is a thrill that can only be done justice in person, so whether you’ve never tried snow sports before, know the basics, or are already used to the mountain slopes, you can always learn new skills here at The Snow Centre.
To reach a good standard of snowboarding, complete beginners will require around six lessons. The number of lessons needed to feel comfortable will depend on your learning speed and the type of snowboarding lessons you are undertaking.
If you meet our Main Slope minimum standards, you can ski or snowboard without lessons here at The Snow Centre as often as you like with a Manchester or Hemel Hempstead lift pass. If you haven’t been on your board in a while, we strongly recommend taking a refresher lesson.
We have specific standards for the use of the Main Slope, requiring users to be able to control their speed and direction, make safe turns and stops, and use the button lift. If you cannot meet the criteria, you will not be able to ski or snowboard, as you will be a risk to yourself and others around you.
